AI Processing Hangs: Diagnosis and Recovery Steps

AI processing in Bitcut involves uploading audio to the server, transcribing it, and running analysis. Each step depends on a network connection and server availability. If processing appears stuck, there are several things to check.

Common Causes

Internet connection

AI processing requires an active internet connection for the entire duration. If your connection drops mid-process, the upload or analysis may stall. Check your Wi-Fi or cellular connection and try again.

Server is busy

During peak times, the server may take longer to process your request. The progress indicator may pause at a certain percentage while your job waits in the queue. In most cases, waiting a few minutes resolves this.

AI quota exceeded

If you have used all your AI minutes for the month, processing will not start. Check your remaining quota in settings and upgrade if needed.

What to Try

1

Wait a few minutes

Long videos (10+ minutes) can take several minutes to process. If the progress bar is moving, even slowly, processing is working normally.

2

Close and reopen the app

If progress has been completely frozen for more than 5 minutes, close Bitcut and reopen it. Background processing may resume automatically.

3

Re-run processing

If the clip shows a failed state, you can re-run AI processing on it. The previous attempt is discarded and a fresh one starts.

Check the clip indicator: Each clip on the timeline shows a processing icon. A spinning indicator means it is still working. A warning triangle means it failed — tap it for details.
