3 Export Presets: Choose Your Quality and File Size

Export presets are pre-configured combinations of resolution, video bitrate, and audio bitrate. They simplify exporting by giving you a sensible starting point for common use cases.

Standard

The default preset. Exports at your source video's native resolution with high quality settings.

  • Resolution: Matches source (up to 4K)
  • Quality: High bitrate for sharp, detailed output
  • Best for: YouTube uploads, portfolio work, archival copies

Use Standard when quality is the priority and file size is not a concern.

Web Light

Optimized for small file size while maintaining good visual quality on mobile screens.

  • Resolution: 720p
  • File size: Approximately 15 MB per minute
  • Best for: Social media uploads, messaging apps, quick sharing

Web Light uses efficient compression to keep files small. The result looks sharp on phone screens where most short-form content is consumed.

Social media tip: Platforms like Instagram and TikTok re-compress uploaded videos. Starting with Web Light avoids double-compression artifacts that can happen when uploading an already heavily compressed file, while keeping upload times fast.

Custom

Full control over every export parameter. Set your own resolution and bitrate values.

  • Resolution: Choose from 720p to 4K
  • Video bitrate: Set precisely for your quality/size target
  • Audio bitrate: Adjust independently

Custom is useful when you have specific delivery requirements — for example, a client who needs 1080p at a particular bitrate, or when you want 4K resolution with a moderate bitrate to save space.
