Download Public Facebook Videos to Bitcut for Editing

Bitcut can import videos from Facebook the same way it handles YouTube. Copy a link to a public Facebook video, paste it into Bitcut, and the video downloads to your device. This works with videos from pages, public profiles, and public groups.

How to Import a Facebook Video

1

Copy the video URL

In the Facebook app, tap the share button on a video and choose Copy Link. In a browser, copy the URL from the address bar. Both facebook.com and fb.watch links work.

2

Open the media picker in Bitcut

Bitcut detects the Facebook URL on your clipboard and offers to import it. Alternatively, switch to the URL tab and paste the link manually.

3

Download the video

Choose your preferred quality and tap download. A progress bar tracks the download. The video is saved locally on your device once complete.

4

Add to a project

Once downloaded, the video appears in your import list. Select it and add it to a new or existing project.

Public videos only: Bitcut can only download videos that are publicly accessible. Private videos or videos with restricted visibility cannot be imported.
