Export Your First Short in 4 Steps with Presets

When your edit is ready, export creates a standard video file (MP4/MOV) with everything baked in — subtitles, face tracking crop, transitions, audio mix. The exported file goes to your Camera Roll and is ready to upload anywhere.

How to Export

1

Tap the Export button

The export button (arrow-up icon) is in the top-right corner of the editor. Tapping it opens the export settings sheet.

2

Choose a preset

For your first export, the Standard preset works well — it exports at the source video's resolution with high quality. For smaller file sizes, try Web Light (720p HEVC, ~15 MB/min).

3

Tap Export

Bitcut renders your video. A progress bar shows the export status. The time depends on video length and resolution — a 60-second 1080p Short typically takes 10-20 seconds.

4

Share or save

When export finishes, the video is saved to your Camera Roll. You can also tap Share to send it directly to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or any other app.

What's Included in the Export

  • All clips in timeline order, with their trimmed durations
  • Subtitles burned into the video (not as a separate track)
  • Face tracking crop applied
  • Music track mixed with clip audio at your set levels
  • Voice enhancement (if enabled)
No watermark: Bitcut does not add any watermark to exported videos, even on the free plan.
