Permanent Removal: Cloud Storage and Portal Cleanup

You can delete published shorts from Bitcut Cloud at any time. Deleting frees up your storage quota and disables the shared link for removed content.

Deleting Individual Shorts

To remove a single short while keeping the rest of the project published:

  1. Open the publish sheet for the project.
  2. Find the short you want to remove.
  3. Swipe or tap the delete option on that short.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

The short is removed from the cloud and from the portal page. Other shorts in the same project remain available.

Deleting an Entire Published Project

To remove all published shorts for a project at once, delete the published project from the project list. This removes all uploaded shorts and deactivates the portal link.

Links stop working: Once you delete a published short or project, anyone using the shared portal link will no longer be able to view the deleted content. Make sure reviewers or clients have finished their review before deleting.

Storage Is Reclaimed Immediately

When you delete published content, the storage space is freed right away. You can verify this by checking your storage usage in settings. The freed space is immediately available for new uploads.

Local project is not affected: Deleting published content from the cloud does not delete your local project or exported videos. Your edit and Camera Roll files remain untouched.

To check your current storage usage, see Storage Limits & Management. To republish, see Publishing to Bitcut Cloud.
